Shooting Baby Hitler?

In an early Vlogbrothers video, it was suggested that a time machine should be created to go back in time, find Hitler as a baby, and shoot him. No Hitler, no World War Two, many many many people not dead. Then people started saying that it would be wrong to shoot a baby because it's not the baby who was evil, it was how he grew up, and the argument went on for quite a while until somebody suggested the Evil Baby Orphanage.
The Evil Baby Orphanage is a concept where the baby forms of every evil person in the world is taken in the early stages of their time line, and made to grow up in a healthy environment, so they could, as an adult, not be evil. However, I see a very large hole in this plan, and I'm going to use Hitler as an example here. As evil as Hitler was, and no matter what terrible things he did, he was an important factor in the history of the world. If we go back in time and stop Hitler from becoming evil, not only are we creating a paradox (erasing Hitler from history means that there is no Hitler to erase when we get back to our time because nobody would have heard of him), but it would also drastically change the way we live our lives.
Hitler was the main driving force behind the second world war. The war meant that British soldiers had to go out to fight. Because they all had to leave, they couldn't just abandon their jobs, so women took over. When the war was over, a lot of women carried on with their jobs, and it became almost normal for a woman to have a job. At this stage the women of Britain were battling for Women's Rights, and this really did help their case. It was because of the men leaving that women earned the right to work. No Hitler, no war. No war, no soldiers. No soldiers, no empty jobs. No empty jobs, no women running the country, and if that didn't happen, then the world as we know it would not exist. It's the Grandfather Paradox: if you change one tiny thing in the past, then you can stop yourself being born. If you were never born, then you could never have changed that detail, and if you couldn't have changed that, then you would have been born anyway, and nothing would have changed. Paradox.
